Michael Allen and I are starting the preliminary work on a new recording to be released later this year. This will be the first Coyote Oldman duo CD since "House Made of Dawn" in 1999 (Valley Entertainment / Hearts of Space). It's not a sure thing until we get our schedules worked out and sign the deal - at which time we'll formally announce the label and more information. I'm really looking forward to this and hope it comes together. - Barry

Jim Healey Project
Probably one of our biggest new projects in terms of scope is a collaboration with composer/pianist Jim Healey. Jim is a phenomenal talent and a student of the legendary pianist Alan Pasqua (Allan Holdsworth, Peter Erskine, etc.). Also onboard is drummer extraordinaire, Joel Taylor. There is a lot more to tell about the Jim Healey project, but for now the highlight is that the basic tracking was completed at Hollywood's prestigious Conway Recording Studios last November. On the geekier side of things, here's a thread I started on Gearslutz. - Barry

Cosmic Debris
We have several new projects in the works, but one that I am really excited about is the CD and iTunes realease of "On the Shores of a Different Time" by Cosmic Debris. This is a live, in-studio recording by synthesis pioneer Richard Bugg and yours truly. "Shores" is a joint venture between Richard's Non Compos Mentis Music label and Ancient Sun Music. - Barry
